For those that are interest you can get an adapter for the LTG from Speed Gems that will allow you to bolt any GM pattern gear box to it. the Ox box and probably most or all others will require a notch to clear the coolant hub on the back of the motor. A guy in Florida that just finished putting an LTG boat together made a tube to relocate the coolant hub but it still required a little notch in the back of his stinger gear box. I am looking into eliminating the cam driven vacuum pump on the back of the head ( it is oil lubricated so I need to see if the block off plate will require a pass thru for the oil to be able to drain back to the head or can it just be blocked off) Doing this would give plenty room to make a box shaped coolant hub relocation part that would eliminate the notch in the back of a gear box.

They include the flywheel adapters also to bolt right up to the gear box drive plate.

This past summer I went visit Brian the Owner of Ox box. Super nice family. After some arm twisting he agreed to notch a couple boxes for me. :D . Can't thank him enough for taking time out of his crazy busy schedule to make this modification for me.

Do remember that the tuning is still a bitch. Alpha Fab was able to get it making power online tuning with me but it took a while. I have since lucked up and found a good local tuner that has helped me fine tune it. I see that Holly now has a DI / VVT system that could make the tuning MUCH simpler. While very pricey to me it would be worth it to get rid of the complicated GM format. Does anyone have any experience with the new Holley DI/VVT system? Looking at the specs It would appear you should be able to use it on a 4 cylinder.

I would love to but my classes are pretty screwed up this year. I do have a group working on another engine for our next boat build. Thanks for following our builds!
