Ecotec gearbox adapter

I am in the planning stage of building an ecotec package and can't find a gearbox that will bolt up or an adapter manufacturer. If you find something please post.

Ballistic says an ecotec box is "coming soon" on their web site but I have made 4 phone calls without an answer or return call

Ox said they are not currently making a box for the 4 cylinder ecotec either.

Century has a mini belt drive that will bolt to an ecotec but I don't know if it bolts to the LNF. I'm currently researching to see if there are different bolt patterns for the LNF, LHU and LTG or if they are all the same.
 
Ballistic makes a box already. It is $3495 for the box plus shipping. Chuck made a really nice adaptor that was tapped for the oil lines and allowed you to use any SBC box which was a great option. I’d like to use an OX drive, but might be stuck with the ballistic unfortunately.

Thanks for the info. Looks like the LTG does not have the same bellhousing bolt pattern as the Rest.

I read in another thread that even though retired, Chuck may be available by phone. If we could run his number down he may be able to put us in contact with the person that was making the adapter for him.
 
Yeah. I was talking to him the past couple of weeks to get an adapter he had. It’s crazy he passed just like that.

TDezso: I spoke to Rotator and thy have an adapter for the LHU but not the LTG like I have. I sent you a few pm’s.

What did you decide to do for a gearbox?
