Marks in Louisiana. Does excellent work on Lycoming engine rebuilds. I believe he ships out most of the work to aircraft shops and just assembles.
Jurnigans in Florida. He has the capacity to do lots of the work in house. Ships out some work like welding to aircraft shops.
There are a few around that will sell you junk.
Have used a place in OK that will work on cylinders, but you have to tell them it is for airboats. I got a call from them saying this cylinder was not and cannot be made airworthy and they wanted to know what FAA certified shop did the last work to it. I will look up the name and number and post later this week.
