Looks like a great place! I would love to know here you all put in at and where you are riding. i haven't been down there in several years and hope to get down there soon.

Thanks for sharing Brewster! One of the reasons for joining this web site is because of folks such as yourself. Going to make to the Glades one of these days! One of these days! :brave: Ride On!

Brewster I would like to find out more about your everglades ride. I would like to plan a ride to bring a few boats down and stay some where and ride for a day or two. I don't want to ride and just look at saw grass for hours on end. Went to glades years ago and that was hours of saw grass. We did get into cypress some. Looked like fun riding. Lake County Airboat Club

THIS IS ALL PRIVATE INDIAN LAND , YOU HAVE TO BE A CAMP OWNER OR A GUEST , IM JUST LUCKY ENOUGH TO HAVE SOME GOOD FRIENDS LIKE COWBOY , CANEFAN AND RDM20470 THAT LET ME TAG ALONG AND HAVE THE PRIVLIDGE OF STAYING AT THEIR FINE CAMP..

BUT AREA 3 SOUTH IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC , THATS WHERE ME AND GRANT ARE RUNNING IN THE OTHER VIDEO , THERES PLENTY OF GREAT RUNNING AND COUNTRY TO SEE IF YOU AINT SCARED TO GET OUT THERE AND RUN HARD AND BURN SOME FUEL , IT AINT NO HALF ADAY RUN , THAT 120 MILE TRIP ME AND GRANT TOOK BARELY SCRATCHED ONE SIDE OF HER DOWN TO 41 , MADE A CIRCLE AND RAN BACK UP THREW THE MIDDLE ON A 8 - TO - 10 HR. DAY AND THAT WAS RUNNIN PRETTY STEADY , WE DIDNT REALLY STOP AND B.S. ALL THAT MUCH...HOPEFULLY THE WATER WILL HOLD OUT A FEW MORE WEEKS , BUT IF I WAS PLANNING A TRIP ID DO IT SOONER THEN LATER.....

THAT IS DEFIANTLY SWEAT RIDING THEIR. I HAVE A BUNCH OF BUDDY'S THAT LIVED IN DOWN SOUTH. BEEN A WHILE FOR ME SINCE I HAVE BEEN DOWN THAT WAY. WHEN IS THE NEXT RIDE DOWN IN THE GLADES?RAYMOUND MOTT HOW DO YOU LIKE THAT 68" Q ON YOUR 170?I GOT MY DAD A BOAT WITH A FRESH OVERHAUL 170 WITH BENDIX INJECTION AND A 70 1/2 WHIRL WIND. SEEMS LIKE TO MUCH PROP,WAS THINKING ABOUT GETTING SOME 68" Q BLADE FOR HIS HUB.

Continental Cracker, If your Dad has a fresh 170 he will like the 68"Q. I was swinging a 68x38 stick and the Q has much better bottom end and snap. My motor is in need of a rebuild and with that being said. The prop is set @ approx. 1 3/4 mark. I cruise skinny water @ 14-1500 rpm or less, deep water @ 1800 rpm, and WOT @ 2850. It improved my fuel consumption also as I run a MA4-5 Carb. Sensenich says peak thrust is around 2750. The 68" Q is rated for 180-200 hp. It is one of the smarter investments I've made in a couple years. One of these days I'm going to hook up with those fellows down south and mash some of that Glades grass!
