everones thoughts on cotton mouth hulls??

I looking at buying as 13'6 cotton mouth hull dd sbc400 what's everyone's thoughts about it. I will be mainly using it for me and my son to fish and gig off of. On the gulf now the few questions I have is are they fairly stable hulls and do they handle decent. Any and all input on this will be greatly appreciated.

I have a 13’6” cotton mouth and have no complaints. People say they are pretty heavy, but my runs pretty good. It seems very stable in my opinion. I have stood on the back corner in deep water and was not close to topping it, water only came up to where the mufflers dump out the back.

Great beginners boat ran one for years. My cotton mouth did not turn great but also was hard to flip. Now as for water level depends on every thing side wall height, motor weight. My hull was shallow only sat out of the water a few inches at rest. Now my hull had a small tunnel in the back about 3 foot long a few inches high.
