Mere minutes after landing at Blountstown International Airport, the Seminole chief will be ready to board the brand-new rail system dangling high above Tallahassee's canopy roads. From there, he'll gallop down Mayor Marks Avenue on his faithful steed to light the Olympic torch.

With luck, he'll even have time to catch the airboat race - the sport being....

You know what is amazing about that is that airboats have been predominately a redneck kinda thing and FAMU is or was a predominately black college.

I didn't know any better when I was young and while looking over the list of universities in florida to see which looked good to attend ... I figured with a name like florida agricultural and mechanical university that was my kinda school. I told ya'll I did't grow up in a racist household. I was shocked when it was explained to me that it would be impractical for me to attend that school I was the wrong color. LOL oh well how times change now they want airboat races go figure.
