I hung out with Felber the other night. He has engine parts and equipment that i have only seen in magazine  He is not bash full about building power :D Very cool guy and honest. I learned alot in a little while.! I found my motor guy. His port work is sick. Hey Dave i know what you are up to now 8) The word is mum. Thats going to work good! You should consider Felber on all serious builds! Not trying to blow your head up i was just impressed!

The list of people that can do what Felber can is short ........ very short. I'm proud to know him.

Dan don't worry no need to keep it a secret Mike is porting an intake for me and matching it to my injection air door! I sure hope we have a sanctioned race some day so I can get to use it!

Whew! Thanks guys. It means a lot to get kudos from people you respect. Sometimes the path of hard work and stickin by what you love, seems to have limited reward. And after spendin another day in the hospital with my Dad, it was a post that I really needed.

Thanks again for remindin me why a drag racer fell in love with airboating and the people in it.

Gawd I love you guys! Or did that sound too much like a Bud Light comercial? Don't sweat it...I still got beer left. ;)

Is there anything any of the rest of us in S. Brevard can do to help with your dad? If I can help with anything, just let me know.

Thanks Scotty, but everything's OK. He's Diabetic and on home dialysis, so he runs into complications sometimes. Mostly just takin care of him, but yesterday he had a problem with his catheter and had to spend the day in the ER cuz he's very succeptible to infection and whatnot. But he's OK now and I've still got money I haven't spent yet, so all is well. :)

Thanks Again

some people can't take care of their parents. Even though it may be a burdensome or heart ache there is blessing in it. You need to get that new toy going and clear your head :)

Dan, that's absolutely right. It's always been a mystery to me how a man and a woman could raise five children, but when their
parents get old, five children can't take care of their folks.

Social Security should be for those who are alone and helpless. JMO

Olf, there was time in this great nation when we had 3-4 genertions living on the same property and in the same house. they were borne in their house and they died in their own house. Today most folks raise an eyebrow or lift their nose at that lifestyle, but I'm telling ya, I think we turned out better people that way. none of the kids ever had ADD or ADHD, they all said yes sir no sir to their elders, and school was at a little house they all built just down the road a piece.

We spawned Presidents, Statesmen, Ministers, Nobel Prize winners, Poets, Writers and World Leaders there.

I am the youngest of 4 and i hope one of use will be able to step up to the plate when the time comes. Life is a struggle how ever you look at it. I think a struggle is a sign of life b/c dead fish float down stream. Makes you think about Bud and how it picked him up and how it made us feel to help :)

Yessir, we did ..... and they called us 'Country'. Go figure .... :?

Like a friend of mine likes to say, "I was 12 yrs. old before I figured out that pinto's, collards, cornbread, and sweet tea weren't the four
major food groups."

We've lost more than we've gained IMO.

Olf Art, I may be young being born in the early 70's , but I consider them the true good ol' days. Heard all the stories from my dad about how the Glades used to be and the herds of deer, etc. We run the track for days on end and only see a couple of does...Wished I would have gotten here 10 or 15 years earlier so I could have caught the end of it.

Felber,

Prayers sent.

My mother's father came to this Country from Scotland. He was 21 and my grandmother was 19, and already pregnant with my Uncle John.

Coal mining was all he knew so he went back in the mines when they arrived, and he retired at the age of 64. He had spent 52 yrs. of his
life underground but there was never a time when I ever heard him say anything but that he was grateful for having been given the opportunity
to work and raise his family in a Country like this one.

Two things that make me laugh when a parant say's the people at a day care take as good care of their children as they do and when a son or daughter say's a nursing home is whats best for my parents. Me and my wife did what we had to do to make sure our kid wasn't brought up in a day care and guess what it shows in our child she say's yes mama, no mam and excuse me and thank you more then any other child I know. And when my Dad died it was in my home and when my mother died of cancer I took care of her in my home until two day's before she died I was with both of them to the end. wouldn't have it any other way! Who is so naive to believe a nursing home or a doctor or a hospital gives two shit$ about anyone! And it keeps getting worse one of my best Friends is going thru it now with his father. You would not believe what the system is trying to pull on him!
