This might sound like a silly question but after a long journey I'm going to finally put some power to my new build and spin it over to at least get some oil circulating through it before I take it to get the ignition put on it. It's a GSO540, I got the oil tank from Hamant and it appears to probably hold 2-3 gallons. The oil cooler is new and the engine hasn't had any oil ran through it since the top end was done. Does anyone have any idea how much the cooler (large Heyden) might hold and where I should start with filling the tank. Never ran a dry sump before so not sure how much they will have that doesn't return to the tank. If this is making sense.
