Finally done Floral city/ Snyder smallmouth sled

I had logged on here about 6 months ago. I did not know much obout airboats and had just picked up a floral city airboat with 18 hrs on it. Boat was like new just sat outside and needed a little love turns out it needed alot of love. Well it got alot Jim Taylor of Taylors engine service went over the motor and made it run and look great. Randy Ditzel of Race specialtiys made the tube rake slash light bar and installed the Lenco trolling motors.. Well it seemed the hull had a cup and it took on a lot of spray. So Thanks to airboat Mike who reached out on this forum to me and hooked me up with Tom Snyder of Sntders air and jet boats. I can't thank Mike enough Tom was simple awesome he said he was going to make this a northeast river boat and cut out the bottum and put in quarter inch tempered aluminum bottum with 3/4 inch poly on the bottum and half inch on the sides. He also gusseted the hull and it is beautiful. This thing is a monster now Tom and I and another friend fished it the other day and you can crawl over submerged boulders. I accidentaly hoped off of a shelf and was amazed to find no damage. The boat is snyderized and it is awesome and my dream smallmouth and bowfishing ride. Thanks to this forum and great guys like Airboat Mike and Tom Snyder.

Nice rig, were you guys out today? I heard someone above the Ferry wall, I was down below at the power lines and up to the wall. I usually fish from the wall down.

We where out yesterday and I am new to the area all I know is that it is a fantastic fishery I live closer to the delaware which also is pretty good at times. Most the people I know fish jets and they do a great job I just like airboats and want to also do some duck hunting in the swamps and marshes of Maryland and New Jersey. Bought some large camo netting for the boat. Gonna give it a try this year.
