First Airboat ride

Well I took a real good Buddy of mine and his wife and two son's for there first Airboat ride on the Chatahoochee River yesterday could not ask for a nicer day blue sky 75 degrees no wind and the trees are a beautiful yellow orangeand red, they had a great time my favorite part of the trip was to see the surprised look on there faces when I drove right up on the Beach of Buzzard roost Island and across the pebbel beach and came to a stop to take there picture then fired the boat up and back into the river after our little ride and we gotback to the ramp they all said that it was the boat was nothing like any thing they had ever ridden in and that it was a lot quiter than they expected it to be my Buddy Rick was also there he the one that sold me the 0290 Aircraft engine and he was there for a ride to, he was in shock because it was the first time he had seen or heard the boat since I have put the new Engine and prop on and he said it was at least 80% quiter than it used to be and he said when I left the ramp that I was not a 100 yards away and he could not hear the boat any more so thank to WaterThunder and Sensenich I think I have a pritty Quit Airboat now and left a good impression on all my friends by the way the picture of my friends and there fist ride is posted if someone want's to move it to this thread

Great I'm glad to hear you are happy with your motor and that it makes the power you were looking for you did some hands on testing with the two vs three blade prop that will help some other people. CC is switching two a three blade because of your testing. As for the first boat ride I will be in a similar situation Friday I will be taking a bunch of people from South Korea on their first airboat ride for a project Felber and another friend are doing that I'm slightly involved with. I hope to leave a reasonable impression on them! I wanted to ride my airboat up there with ya and see the seasonal change, maybe next year. I still want to get a few pointers from ya maybe a class or two with my new rifle.

I love the way them Super Wide Q series blade's look on a boat!

Big thanks again on that one Dave. The Koreans had a blast and you made an awesome impression. It looks as if we may have sold them at least 3 different engine combinations for testing with a high possibilty of a lot more in the future, nevermind a lot of contract consulting for me. I think our combined knowledge of real world application and engineering started something very promising. In no small part to you.
