fishing the easy way

I have had mullet jump in the boat plenty of times but man, they were getting nailed by hundreds of fish. Where was the video shot at. That would be dangerous if you were cruising through at a fair rate of speed.

Sometimes when the Reds come in up here where we live it's quite a show watchin the Mullet .... they're jumping everywhere! Never had one jump in the boat with me before. That ol' boy was gettin his butt kicked!

Where the Suwannee river dumps into the Gulf live a fish called Gulf Sturgeon that get big (like 3ft. long) and jump. Can't catch them due to protected species. There have been several boaters injured by jumping fish while running on the river.
A couple of years ago, My Dad and I had our airboats down there to check out the river for future club run and while running at cruise speed a Sturgeon jumped and bounced off of dads cage almost hitting the passenger.
There also was one boater killed due to jumping fish, that fish is the only one stuffed and mounted.

The Gulf Sturgeon jump out of the water when it time to lay eggs.
The impact of the water helps to push the eggs out.

What type of fish was that jumping into the boat. Shad?[/list]

If-n ya didn't have a cage around da prop, ya would be dumping some serious chum out da back fo sure. Neat tho. Later

I was thinking the same idea about the chm cajun. even with the cage.... the bilge of the boat wiould be full of chum, they are jumping from every angle!

What language are those guys speaking? My computer's speakers are not the best, but it sounded like some sort of spanish - maybe porguese? is the video from Brazil maybe?

Either way, you have to laugh with them no matter the language... that's just funny!
