What are the flag laws in Central Fl? I'm planning on a run there and don't want any problems. Any info will be appreciated.

All airboats will be required to fly an orange flag measuring 10x12 inches at 10 feet from the bottom of the hull.

Are they required at this time or is there a date when it takes effect?

Brevard county currently requires them. I believe Indian River county requires them too.

STATEWIDE by on OCT. 1!!!!

If you were written a ticket or warning in a county that did not require them before the new law, you can/should fight it!!! It will be removed. There was a LT. over on Hatchineha and Kissimmee area that had to go back and remove a LOT of warnings because it hasn't taken effect yet!!!
