flex pipe and ceramic coating

i have a gpu with ceramic coated headers. my flex pipe goes bad quickly with in 30 hrs of use and discolors in one day. i don't believe my engine is running hot. temp gauge stays low always less than 180 degrees. there is an add here on SA showing ceramic coated flex pipe. does this help or is this all show??? does anybody know the cost and does the flex pipe still flex or does it need to be already bent to the right position??

thx mike

I got rid of my flex pipe and had a local muffler shop replace it with aluminumized tubing. That is what all the FWC boats in this area run,so I assume it's legal. It's been on about 2 months now and hasn't even discolored. My last flex pipe didn't even last 2 months. It doesn't seem to like salt water.

are you also running those tiny mufflers they had made. i saw some at thurmans that were made by the same guy that makes the ones for the nps boats. they are super small. its hard to tell whats legael or not

The muffler shop bent the tubing to fit the boat. I am running Magna Flow mufflers. So far,I am well satisfied. There is no flex coupling, but I haven't had any problems at all.
