Dear SCI Members in Florida,
You have a chance to help shape the future of hunting in your home state. There is a process underway to find a legislative successor to the Florida Forever Act, the law that FL uses to purchase land for hunting, state parks and state forest, etc. Apparently the draft of the new bill has good language in it concerning hunting, fishing, boating and access.
Please ask your members to contact the DEP and make your comments know on this new legislation or ask for a copy to look over yourself. They have created a website survey for you to access. That can be found at http://www.dep.state.fl.us/lands/acquis ... daForever/
This is a great opportunity for SCI in FL to take a stand and to do good for hunting for many years to come.
