I have been looking at rates for commercial buildings and my home. The rates have doubled this term and none of the buildings have had a claim. Get ready folks another cost of living increase is about to bring us all down to our knees.

I've got a contract on a house in Jensen Beach right now and have been having a bear of a time finding insurance for it too. The house is 30 years old but was ttally gutted and re-built last year. A local agent found a company to underwright the policy for me out of Lake Mary, FL. The company in LM is called First Protective Insurance. FPI is on the web.

My homeowners was cancelled and had to go find a new company and the premium only went up 30% so I guess compared to some it was a bargin. By the way first protective was who cancelled me.
