Just thought you guys would find this amusing there has been an Add going on the Radio for the last two week here in Georgia for Florida and it talks about all the fun things to do while visiting the State and one of the first things that is brought up is going for Airboat rides and it just seem to be a contradiction to me how the state promotes Airboating in there tourism advertisments but countys in Florida are trying to outlaw them at the same time I think the countys need to listen and see some of these adds that the state is speending lots of money on to me Airboats are as much a part of Florida as the Gator or the Orange.

A couple of years ago while working in Miami ( New Yorks southernmost borough), I watched an ad for Citrus County tourism showing an airboat. This was at the same time Citrus County Airboat Alliance was fighting the County Commission. They want your money but they dont want what draws it. go figure.
