i'm still trying to figure out what engine to use on my 11' boat. i know where i can pick up a ford 302 and a 351w pretty cheap. they're both good running engines. my question is how would they be as direct drive?
You should private message "UncleBubba". He presently has a direct drive Ford 302. I saw it run on the "Southern Airboat Okechobee monthly run" and it did get good gas mileage and keep up with all the other boats.
