Freedom Ride

Dakota

Well, what a great time and a great turnout even though it started out chilly. Great food and great company. Someone even won the $360 50/50 drawing. Afterwards we went for a ride through the dead river and on into the hole in the wall. Well, the locals, we won't mention any names , thought it would be fun going through there. Well Gardners marsh is more like a desert right now. There was not even a puddle from the hole in the wall on Lake Cypress to catfish pond. But we all made it through. No one was stuck but we did have to stop a few times to let the polymer cool off. We sat and talked at catfish pond and headed out. We did some puddle jumping from catfish pond out to Lake Kissimmee. We headed to the milk bus where we sat for a few more minutes and then headed back to Drasado Oaks. We sat around the fire for a little bit when we decided to head back to the ramp at Lake Cypress with Skeeter and Geneva. We met some great people and seen some old faces. Had a great time and thanks to the KRVSA, Danny Brantly, Big Daddy and all who put this together and fixed up the food.
