Frod spit on polymer

Has anyone put Frog Spit on polymer?

With the bottom of my polymer all cut up from gigging in the Gulf I'm really not looking to running it on a asphalt road to smooth it out or looking to get new polymer. I thought that I could sand off the strings of polymer hanging down and the high spots then put a coat of Frog Spit on it. I don't see why it wouldn't work.

I don't think it will stick to the polymer. I've never used frog spit, but I can tell you that steel-flex won't stay on there long.
This is judging from small areas of steel flex, that got on my polymer, when I put steel flex on the hull sides and transom.

I would suggest running it a little on a sand bar. The asphalt is a little much. This will help smooth out the polymer that has deep cuts from Oysters.
Good Luck, and remeber when it gets thin, replace it. You don't want a piece to drop off and spin you out.
Thanks

I've been running it on ground here somemore like this past weekend. I'll have some pictures of it at the orange grove on Lake Hernando here soon. I just hate the though of running it on the asphalt It'll be the last resort.

Dangit! You let the secret out that Citrus County has one of the best places on ANY marsh called the Orange Grove. Now we will have all those wonderful folks from all over wanting to climb that big hill and watch the sunset (it's very romantic if they are so inclined). I plan on being up on top of the grove tomorrow evening, the last ride for a while, due to back surgery on tuesday. then the boat gets parked till the doc sez ok. Bummer!
