A big huge airboat Thank You to everyone!

We could never have imagined that so many amazing and kind-hearted airboaters would make this day such a phenomenal event.

We just keep shaking our heads in wonderment at the outpouring of Southern Hospitality that you all showed us and our families. You are an inspiration to us as we start a new adventure in life together.

Now maybe our families and friends have an idea why we love this so much!

We want to thank everyone personally, but there are just too many of you that had a hand in this that I would never finish the list and the thanks! But you all know who you are. And we do too.

To quote a real airboat philosopher we know, "It's always better with friends!"

Ain't that the truth!

Matt & Laura Hasty :love6:

Great day, fantastic setting, outstanding freindships.May yall have endless happieness and good health.Glad I could make it.

Like Skeeter, I feel blessed as well to have made it. I can't think of a better way to have spent the day.

Congrats to you guys.

Thank you for inviting us

Chris

Glad we could come and be there. We had a great time and both of your mothers are wonderful. I had a great time hanging out with them. You guys will have a long and happy life.

Matt and Laura,

Best of luck for you both in your new life together.

May you always be as happy as you were on your wedding day.

I had an awesome time even thought I was taking pictures it was a blast and I got to put some faces with names now, I am firmly convinced that Airboat folks are the nicest bunch I have ever hung out with Matt & Laura thank you for giving me the honor to photograph you wedding I wish you the best in your marriage

Me and Laney really enjoyed the wedding, it was different in a great way. I'm really into history and that was a neat site you picked out there are several old sites along the StJohns that have that kind of historical significance. Three in Melbourne alone!

I want to thank the both of you for allowing me to particapate in your wedding. Got to show off some of the RUSTY culinary skills.
Best wish's to you both.
SAFARI RICK

Mr. and Mrs. Hasty, YOU GUYS ROCK. It just doesn't get any better than that. Great friends, weather and water. Now you all can b-r-e-a-t-h-e......

Laura, you are a beautiful bride. Matt.....you clean up pretty good. I love you both.

My plans to leave my husband for the cook have been put on hold.
Safari Rick....those ribs left me totally speechless(almost).

However, the whole weekend would not have been complete without witnessing Dakota and Stan doin' the wild thing on the dance floor. Ride 'em cowgirl!!!!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS and BEST WISHES,
I hope the two of you have a lifetime of happiness together.
Thanks for inviting me, I had an awesome weekend. The people, food, weather and scenery were as good as it gets. I had alot of fun showing your friends how much fun airboating can be, and I am pretty sure they enjoyed it too.
When I got home and started telling Mrs.Airboat4fun and the boy about it I spiced up the story just a bit and said, "you know at some weddings the ushers are given gifts like a watch or a flashlight WELL at the end the groom gave me several pounds of gator meat and fuel for the boat so that I could ride on sunday." She told me I hang out with some pretty strange folks, I said YEA but you won't find a better group of people anywhere.
If each picture is worth a thousand words, then I've posted a library in my gallery.

SOUTHERN AIRBOATERS ROCK!!!!

Wow :eek:ccasion7:

Mood and RN ya'll sure know how to throw a party, congradulations. I too felt blessed to have been there at such a sacred place for such an occasion. People from all over the country there in attendance. I think Sniper gets the "farthest boat towed" award!

I actually felt as having done the "best man's" duties when AirboatCapn2 and I stumbled upon the bride (she drove the boat to the site white gown and all). The 100 yards of black muck was too much for their boat. Got her pulled out and on her way to the ceremony.

The ceremony was special with a little history lesson on the indian mound, (not too many dry eyes in the crowd). The sun shown down into the hammock and blessed the two of them as the ceremony went off without a hitch.

FWC was even there to give them a blessing as the bride and groom rode off as a married couple. The reception was as awesome as it gets  Safari Rick's professional cooking left no one hungry. The menu included: BBQ chicken, BBQ ribs, BBQ kabobs, gator tail, gator nuggets, venison, venison chili, frawg legs and more

Later on I passed on the "fog bank" night ride :confused2: I believe they had to navigate by GPS to even find their way back to the awesome campfire where many more stories were being heard!

May many years of happiness bless these two very special people.

Yeee Hawww!!!!!

I did forget to thank Safari Rick for the wonderful food and the entertainment!!! LOL It was nice hanging out with Unclebubba and family Friday night along with our other buddies Basket and Ms. Wizard. I had a great time, too much fun at the end, but overall a great time and met some new people. Look forward to the next ride. I love this family!!!!

I am amazed at how incredibly thoughtful, generous, and ingenious airboaters are as a group.

We had family and friends there from all over the USA and all of them left comments about how much airboaters ROCK!

Thanks for all the compliments about our choice of location. It was a last minute choice - and we knew the moment we saw it that it was better than ANYTHING we could have planned for months in advance.

Yes - there is some history on that hill.... just like all the indian mounds in the area. There has been some confusion on the name of that mound - it does not appear on very many maps. Maybe that's why we found it is such pristine condition. The only name I could find for it is Indian Fields Mound, but that makes me confused with the Indian fields area down near Melbourne. So Since that place is special to Laura and myself... we thought of calling it Hasty Hill or Hasty Mound. At least that's what it'll be for us forever. :)

Thanks Jeff for all your help. You may not feel like you did a lot, but you really did much more than you know. You helped me keep some grip on my sanity - I was nervous because I'm a softy for weddings anyway... Just your presence helped me know that things would get done. You don't let stuff slip by, and I was proud to have you by my side the whole month before the wedding.

I'm not going to fall into the trap of individual thanks except in person - Listing here would no doubt leave someone out - But I am most grateful and will be spending much of my life finding a way to thank you all.

Randy - WHERE ARE THE PHOTOS OF CNTRY & STAN WHEN THEY "WRECKED" THEIR BOATS AT THE BIRD TOWER ROAD CROSSING????? Cntry's boat looked like he was trying to turn it into a rocket - And when stan got back to help him - He got his boat hi-sided ON EACH END and basically made an aluminum bridge between two mud banks. (this happened on the eve of the wedding - on a foggy night ride)

We gotta see those photos!!!

Thanks for the food - Thanks EVERYONE for showing our family and friends WHY WE LIKE AIRBOATING. It's SO MUCH more than motors, props and a roar. So much MORE!

I feel like I'm the luckiest guy in the world!!!
