Fuel barge

Could you possibly "scope-out" the cost of fuel prices, (premimun for me, maybe avgas for others) in the area closest to the ramp and post?!!

Members might save a bundle by traveling the distance with empty tanks/ fueling there in your neck of the woods!

Couple of hundred pounds less for me to not haul over that distance.

Basket: The way prices have been changing around here it will old information by the time you drive over there. We had a 5 cent jump from friday morning to friday afternoon. I would definetly bring empty cans and fill up over there I will be.

When we went out Saturday it was $2.59 for regular gas so maybe about $2.79 a gallon. Also for Avgas I was told it was about $3.85 to $4.00 but I will find out in the next couple of days and post. Melbourne Airport has it and I was told they close at 8:00pm on Saturday but I will find that out too.

$2.96 for premimun here! (Bottom of the world where they pipe the cool weather in to us)! Kinda what i thought! We'll fuel there!

Just checked with Helicopter Adventures at Tico Airport in Titusville. 100 LL is 3.60 per gallon at the self service pump. I know this doesn't help if your coming from down south but from Orlando or North you would get off of 95 (or take 50 over) at the SR 50 exit. Take SR 50 East you will turn right on 405 (toward the space center) Tico airport is about 6 miles on your left. Look for the place with all of the little helicopters. The self serve pump is next to a walk gate so you can actually fill gas cans 24/7. There number is 321-385-2919. Hope this helps.

Yeah driving to Titusville unless they are coming from that way but the Melbourne Airport here has it and that is not too far.

goodness, thats some high gas prices! which aint they all, Avg Gas (100LL) Around my area is 2.79 a gallon, which was funny at the citgo down the road premium was 2.83, and their avg gas was still 2.79... But most likley it has gone up to about 2.90 havent road in about two weeks! Wish yall could make it to the Airboat Races at Polluted Waters on Lake Kiss. this weekend.. But that sure is a good thing yall are doing for the troops, wish i could make it! Best of luck to all!
