Fuel lift pump

I was using a Facet. Can't recall the part #. But it worked fine It was 3/8 in and out and was a flo through

There are a lot of options for a 5-7 PSI prime pump. But on an injected engine it is best to use a prime pump that makes sufficient pressure to run on if the mechanical pump fails. I'm running Continental Injection on a Lycoming 540, but only a low pressure prime pump at the moment, upgrading the electric prime/backup is on my list. I believe the figure is about 22 PSI but I am interested in any one's experience here myself.

I'm using a Facet POSI-FLOSolid State Fuel Pump, 25 GPH / 1.5-4 PSI. as a lift pump to the high pressure mechanical pump for the injection system, I find that AC fuel pumps are not good at suction lifting fuel in a airboat, when normally they draw from wings above or slightly below the engine. The electric pump will get you home at a reduced rate and the mechanical will run the engine while in a power setting but doesn't idle very good, it goes into fuel starvation. Hope that helps you
