It was brought to my attention last night after the meeting by a local airboat manufacturer.That maybe we should try to lobby money from the airboat biulders,engine biulders etc in Florida, To try to help fund Bonnie,Where would they be without airboaters to buy their products.I know one biulder who is willing to donate a little per boat biult.Just an idea.
 
I think we should schedule a meeting with as many airboat manufacturers as possible and see what we can get done.I'll help.
 
Skeeter,you may want to invite the club presidents from here in Florida or their

representativess so that the info gets "filtered down" to everyone who can/will donate.

going to and talking to the manufacturers of airboats and also related parts is some of the things that some members of FAA are doing. But it helps a lot when all airboaters ask their manufacturer or airboat shop if they support or even belong to the FAA. The FAA is doing all we can do to protect everyones airboating future. But it takes MONEY to compete with County Commissioners who are pressured by developers and population growth.

Last night I was pleased to see several airboat businesses in attendance. I didn't see every one but I do know there were 2 major airboat builders, 1 aircraft engine builder and 1 prop manufacturer. There were also several tour and aquatic businesses.

Lets all support airboat businesses that help to protect airboating.

We in Mich. will be having our fist meeting for the year within the next two mounts I will add this to my list of topics for discussion. I will also help pass the word to other airboates around different states Because every time we have a problem the first thing out of our senators mouth is -- WHAT ARE THEY DOING IN FLORIDA ----
