WELL WELL , ANOTHER FINE JOB BY FWC TO MESS UP THE PERMITS THIS YEAR. TRIED FOR LAKE KISS AND NOTHING, IF YOU ALREADY HAD A PERMIT FROM LAST YEAR THAN YOU WHERE SCREWED. i HAD TO WAIT AS FWC FIX THERE PROBLEM AND BY THAT TIME IT WAS ALL OVER.
 
Pick another spot and move on. Nobody is a shoe in for just one spot. Chances are you will be driving by big gators on your way to Kiss.

Did not get my first choice either, but i got one and i am good with that.
 
NO THE PROBLEM WAS THAT I COULDN'T GET ON ONLY THE NEW HUNTERS HAD FIRST CHOICE, UNTIL ABOUT 10:20 THAN ALL LAKE KISS WAS GONE. I LIKE GOING TO LAKE KISS IT WORKS JUST FINE FOR ME. SO I'LL JUST SUCK IT UP AND NOT HUNT THIS YEAR.
 
Well, we will find out what the problem is in due time. Why is Fl having a hard time with this issue. It should be a cake walk. Can not realy understand why this is happening.
If they blocked out the people who hunted last year, Then they should have made it known to the public.

Hey A-1, four of us put in for Lake Kiss too, as our first choice and all were denied. Funny we all had permits last year too, no for Kiss though. We all got 3rd or 4th choices but no Kiss. It must go fast. We did get two on Jessup though. All were through the internet none of us could get through on the phone. Just fyi
 
Here is what happen, anyone that had a license last year was unable to get on line until Tally fix it, which took until 10:20. See your license is for one year so it looks like I already had one until the problem was fix. Now last year I couldn't get a license but I could get a permit, which I did and then get my license later. This year you couldn't get anything until Tally fix it. I've got a friend that works at the Court House that was on the phone with Tally when she told them what was going on. Now the upside to this was if you didn't hunt last year, you got first choice or close to it. I would rather someone get to hunt that hasn't than like last yer when one person got alot of tags and some got none. Yes I could go somewhere else but I'll wait and go with my buddy on the 4 period hunt
 
Actually the program locked you out until (1) one minute after you got last years license.

I've already left messages for Stiegler, Dutton & Haddad.

They need to cancel all licenses out @ 12:01 a.m. the night before the lottery so it's fair for all.
 
WTF......the system wouldn't take my credit card......still got a permit but not the way a new and improved system should work. Buddy of mine was locked out for the first half hour.
 
Wouldn't take my business debit card so i gave them my personal debit card and it went thru. When i listed all my choices it said Lake Jessup no hunt, but when i cashed out and got the authorization # I was confirmed for Jessup 4th hunt. Who knows what goes on in a computers mind.
 
I hunted last year and was still able to get in at 10:00 with no problems other than an error in my credit card info. but was able to re enter the correct info. and it went through . Ended up with my second choice which was puzzle lake.
 
It happened to everyone!!! I tried to get in right after 10 and could not. I think I got in around 10:10 but it happens when everyone slams the system at one. Nothing new. I am sure where ever you got, you will get a big one.
 
got mine at 10:00, and had a license last year, had a problem with one cc, used another went thru fine.
 
If anyone of us, ran our business like the people who run the gator hunt license scam,we would be out of business
Would not let me purchase anything for first 40 min.
 
On line they posted available hunts left. There are still tags for 3rd and 4th week at a few places. But wow they sold alot the first go around.
 
I got mine around 12:30 PM for Lake Hatch which was 4th choice. Lake Istokpoga, Okeechobee west, and Lake Kissimmee were the first three choices that I did not get.
