Mr. Walter's,

I have sent you several PM's with no response, yet I know you have visited and posted on the site. Perhaps you have you're pop-up blocker on and weren't notified, I don't know.

As the delegate to the quarterly FAA meeting from SAO, I am requesting from you, the current FAA President, a copy of the agenda for the FAA meeting on Saturday, October 14th.

Also, I am requesting that you publish the proposed revisions to the bylaws of the FAA so that our organization's members can review and discuss them.

Finally, I am asking for confirmation as to whether or not you intend to run for any elected position within the FAA so that I can continue to prepare my list of candidates for submission to our members for discussion.

Thank You,

Adam Wetherington

Mr. Wetherington,

It's gator season & time to earn a living as the volunteer work does not provide an income, only expenses. If you need imediate answers to ANY of your questions or concerns (as I have suggested to you in the past) feel free to pick up the phone & call me at 813-968-6154. I'm happy to discuss any topic or issue one on one with you, providing my schedule permits.

The bylaw changes are very time consuming and a work in process. They will be presented to the delegates present at the Oct 14 meeting and copies will be mailed to the members. This will allow everyone a 3 month period to review. I might add that posting our bylaws on a Internet site for the world to see may not be wise and should you post them, please do so in a secure area.

As for nominations, I serve at the will of our members. If nominated for President, I will serve if elected. I will provide you nominations as I receive them.

I will add that I have firm and aggressive views on leadership, our leadership circle, the goals of our organization in protecting our culture, traditions, heritage, good public name & image and our recreational opportunities as sportsmen. I will lead our organization within my convictions and the parameters set by our DELEGATES and bylaws and not be bullied, backed down or passive, brow beat, succumb to misinformation or the perpetuation of ignorance and/or distortions by either our opponents or adversaries inside or outside our ranks. My views and beliefs are no secret to the sportsmen of Florida and the Southeast. I believe they are the reason I was elected President in 2005 and if the membership nominates and elects me to serve, build and protect our interests again, then I will do so to the best of my ability.

Mr. Walters,

Thank you for your response. That answers several of my questions. I will not bother you with a phone call just yet. However, when your schedule permits please send me a copy of the proposed agenda for the meeting.

Thanks again,

Adam

Mr. Wetherington,

You are welcome.

Communication and accurate information is the key to a civil society. You are an activist and as such I will do my best to accommodate your concerns ANYTIME. So call me ANYTIME there is an issue. I'll make the time for you.

It's much easier to avoid a problem than fix one. Too many folks rely on rumor (with casually omitted information) than to take the time to seek the truth (it takes a LOT of time) or, as Paul Harvey so fondly says, "The Rest of the Story."

Happy hunting,
PW

Feel free to reply or call me at the # above if you have questions. Very few folks take the TIME needed to find answers, so when someone calls me about airboats, gator hunting or other issues ect, I do my best to accomodate their questions.
Please keep in mind I can talk while I'm spending 4 hours driving to my next gator hunt.

hopefully you will not get nominated again and if you do hopefully you will be voted out.

BPS as a member of this forum I cast my vote to you as a delegate : to vote for whomever is running against him no matter who it is and if Bob Hoover runs then please vote for swampjet.

as for other matters that may come up please keep in mind that I am in favor of anything he is not in favor of.

Thank you, you have my desires now and hopefully you will combine them with the other input you get from the other members here and go vote our wishes per the majority. THANK YOU

One of the things Robert E. Lee was credited for was being able to meet the enemy and fight the fight without hate and animosity.

I'll never measure up to that but I sure would like to some day.

I highly recommend reading some of his attributes.

Maybe we could all gain from it, myself included.

Country,

Thank you for your support. Your comments always keep the troops & volunteers motivated........

You should run for office. Then you can enjoy the rewards it produces, provided you have the fortitude to stand "the heat in the kitchen."

Happy hunting,
PW

R.E. Lee often referred to his mortal enemies as "our friends across the river."
