gear reduction

Rotator / Torque is a direct fit with an SFI universal flex plate.

Stinger and OX Drive work well also but require an off set plate or the flex plate bolts will make contact with the bolts on the drive plate.
Brian at OX can hook you up with the correct configuration just specify when you order.

You need to check your rigging and determine the width. Rotator and OX have a universal fit to do narrow or wide but Stinger can only fit the narrow spec.

Make sure your engine can take the added rpm a gear drive exposes it too or it will go boom! (Valve train / timing set)

Do some homework

What he said. ^^^ Better be built correctly for more RPM then originally intended or it will not last long. If built right 1.77, 2.00, 2.09 or even 2.38.

Cad Company and MTS (www.500cid.com) they have some basic information that can give you some insight. If you do have work do make sure the shop knows old school caddys.

Kind of surprised of the answers so far but it is 2019!
A good geared 500 is about twice if not triple the gear box! Eventually being geared as a stock 500 config the box will outlast the motor, Even the Kansas boxes,,, Maybe

Why would you want all that big block weight and many times expense vs any junk 350? Or even better a retired LS.
Of course this assuming your going to gear a basic 50 year old motor that has seen 4k maybe once in its lifetime?
