Please our boat the General Lee Race Boat was stolen last night from Allen's shop. IF anyone has any information or has seen the boat in the last 12 hours please let us know. Allen's shop number is 352-569-1100, cell 813-477-0965 or my cell number is 813-477-0631. We are offering a reward and so is Airboat World. This boat is not hard to recognize it is orange with General Lee wrote down the side with 01 and a rebel flag on the rudders. We are hoping to recover the boat, but at this point anything would be nice. Thanks, Diane Vann.
 
One more thing. If anyone does have information and does want to remain anonymous please no questions will be asked. We just want the boat back. Eventually we will find out who did this and where the boat or parts are. Please if anyone has information contact us. Thanks again, Diane.

Sorry to hear about this. What area was it stolen? I'm a forum member on one of Florida's biggest Fishing sites and I could link this info over there. I can get the info about the boat from hear and pass it into one of their sections for you. The more people that see this the better your chances. Mike
 
The boat was stolen from our body shop in Lake Panasoffkee, Vann's Paint and Body Shop. We really appreciate all of the help and support from everyone. This boat was like a part of our family. All of our blood, sweat and tears has gone into this thing for the past three years. It was stolen somtime between 12 midnight and 7 am this morning. 5/31/05. lease call our home number also if anyone has any info. 352--793-6476. Thanks, Diane Vann.

Just a few months back an airboat thief was caught in your back yard- or real close.
 
For those of you who may not know the General Lee was stolen sometime Monday night. There may have been a possible sighting today in Plant City between 11:30 and 12:00. A man called us tonight and said that there were no stickers or rebel flag (apparently they have been pulled off) but everything else matched closely. It was seen at Sam Allen and Park Rd being pulled by a green or grey chevrolet, at least a club cab, heading towards the interstate. At this point please keep you eye out for just an orange boat I am sure that whoever has it has pulled off the stickers. Please let us know if you guys hear anything, home # is 352-793-6476.
