The General Lee Hull was spotted in Alachua County at about 4:30pm today being pulled by a light blue ford aprox. a 88-89 model. There was no motor on the boat. If you know anyone in the North Florida, NW Florida area you can call to pass on this word please do so. Diane will update everyone later, we just want to get the word out as soon as possible. Any Members in the North Florida area, we need your help to call everyone you might know. The person that called 911 said that all of the stickers and General Lee was still on the boat. At this point just keep your eye out for a orange or red airboat hull and call 352-569-1100 with any info. Thanks Terri

Ok everyone here is the details. About 4:45 this afternoon the boat was headed north in Marion county almost to Alachua. It was definitely our boat. IT DID still have the stickers and the decals on it, however NO MOTOR. It was being pulled by a light blue ford around a 1988 model. The man who saw it lives near us and called 911 right away. At this point we don't know if this guy was caught or what. Please if you know anything or hear anything let us know. Thanks again for all of your help, Diane.

Diane, I just copied this and sent it over to the other forum which has gotten about 1100 hits already. The area you speak of is it closer to the west coast or the east coast? Mike

It was spotted in Marion county which is in the center of Florida. Ocala is in Marion County. But it was headed north almost to Alachua county which Gainesville is in Alachua. We have a feeling that it got off of the interstate somewhere in there because all of the sudden it just disappeared. Maybe just maybe we will get this one back. Thank you for all of your help, Diane.
