Geographic Differences

yes that is what i mean't the wide blade with the warp drive bps is right don't see that much around here.

They look switched to me. I was thinkin the warp drive should be feeding the wide blade. May be wrong ..... :? .

I am so green I would be deadly to answer that. It was explained to me the large blades grab the air and the small ones take it and thrust it easier than grabbing and thrusting.

???????????????????

ultramag, I'm sure not throwin off on your boat. I think it's awesome.
I'll be the first to tell you I don't know squat about counter rotators ..... they're a whole new ball game to me.

I'll hush and let some of the folks on here who do know them respond ..... :) .

The blades closest to the engine are typically larger in diameter and wider then the rear set of blades , but not always ! They have been tried in allot of different configs , some are better than others or work better in particular situations . more often then not the first set of blades has more surface area then the second set of blades . On my boat I tuned my props for the best of both worlds or a compromise , if you will , of speed & raw thrust . It is a monster of a boat and will run dry ground w/ a top speed of 60 MPH . In this size of a boat I have never really been ably to do both as well with a single prop set up .

Yeah that is what I want. Fast and unstoppable

Will it climb Mckinley 8)

We need to get together soon and run this sucker. Don't know where to find any water though with these temps in the single digits.

I am open Tue, WEd, fri afternoon. Then off to Mexico for 10 days.

I was posting on other thread while you were here LOL
Knik would be are best bet . usually open most of the year . I'll have to look at my schedule this week and see when I can go

i was not posting to say it was set up wrong i dont run a c.r so i would not know.i just would have never thought of those blades together, but by the the way the video looks it seams to work well.

I live near Des Moines, Iowa and run the Des Moines river mostly. It goes from 30 foot deep in spots in the early spring to next to nothing in the summer. My first boat was a Palm Beach style which was fun but another guy wanted it bad enough that he gave me a chunk of money and took it to Florida. Heck, that's where I got it.

My last two boats were a 10 foot and a 12 foot Gilileo hull. Neither had high enough sides for my comfort but both were fast fun boats. My new boat is a Lazer 13 foot that is so wide I can't believe it. It has high sides and I think it's going to be perfect for me.

The Des Moines river isn't as wide or shallow at the Nebraska Platt river but I think it's similar. No rocks and no saw grass. Just a lot of mud and sandy bottom. I have poly on one boat but I'll remove it later this year to get rid of the weight.

Des, sounds like you're pleased with the new hull. Good.
Be sure to post some pics when you get it up and runnin.
