After a lot of hard work and saving, I'm finally getting back goin on the boat. Dropping it off in Vero Beach to do oceapoly bonded on. Hope to be seeing my old friends in south FL this spring. I miss you all and can't wait. Gonna do another bigger and better Mack's fish camp cookout and ride. Slide on, brothers! See ya soon!!

Good to hear Tim! Hope that Oceapoly works out for you. I don't know if it's the same product but I heard that a number of boats from a manufacturer out of Kansas had the bonded poly come off while riding. The result was not good. Hopefully, they use fasteners at least on the leading edge and along seams. I do have high hopes for the outcome. I've got a poly job coming up soon.

Tim are you dropping off the hull only or the boat itself? Would like to see some before & after pics!

Congrats on getting back on the water soon!
I'm dropping the hull and trailer, since it is still tore down. I will be glad to post before and after pics. Don't have one of the bottom yet, but have some of the sides.20230127_172035.jpg

Thanks! It's been a long time coming. Well, I hope so too, brother! In any case, I will be putting screws across the front edge when I get it back for piece of mind in any case

Excellent, Tim. Good to see you working on the boat. It’ll be good to get together, do another cookout and slide around a bit.

Rad, I picked my alumni hull from Walter last month. Once you see the process and the finished product you will have plenty of peace without the screws. Top notch product.
I looked at all the comments about the product. I am sure they do a good job, brother, or I wouldn't be spending the money. But a few extra bow ounces are certainly worth the piece of mind.

Looks like I'll be headed back to Vero in a week or 2 to pick up my boat. Just waiting for the seams to get welded up. Walter sent me some pics. Looks like a first rate job!

It is difficult for me to convey how overwhelmingly I am in agreement with this thought process.
Some people seem to have luck, and some people don't. I seem to have plenty, although it is not always good.

Good to see you finally making the progress that you are. (y)

Thanks, Deano! It has been a long time coming. I'll have a new prop in a couple weeks, the hull back, and just about everything else in line. Can't wait to get back on the water. I will try to give a big definite heads-up on my trip down when we're all back together. Hopefully all my old friends and some I have yet to meet can make it for a ride and cookout!
