Silent Prop
R. I. P.
We have enjoyed the redneck jokes for years. It's time to take a reflective look at the core beliefs of a culture that values home, family, country and God. If I had to stand before a dozen terrorists who threaten my life, I'd choose a half dozen or so rednecks to back me up. Tire irons, squirrel guns and grit -- that's what rednecks are made of. I hope I am one of those. If you feel the same, pass this on to your redneck friends. Y'all know who ya' are...

You might be a redneck if: It never occurred to you to be offended by the phrase, "One nation, under God."

You might be a redneck if: You've never protested about seeing the 10 Commandments posted in public places.

You might be a redneck if: You still say "Christmas" instead of "Winter Festival."

You might be a redneck if: You bow your head when someone prays.

You might be a redneck if: You stand and place your hand over your heart when they play the National Anthem.

You might be a redneck if: You treat Viet Nam vets with great respect, and always have.

You might be a redneck if: You've never burned an American flag.

You might be a redneck if: You know what you believe and you aren't afraid to say so, no matter who is listening.

You might be a redneck if: You respect your elders and expect your kids to do the same.

You might be a redneck if: You'd give your last dollar to a friend.

If you got this email from me, it is because I believe that you, like me, have just enough Red Neck in you to have the same beliefs as those talked about in this email.

God Bless the USA!

Git'r done!!!!!!!!!!!!

I gess I'm guilty as charged also
When I was a teen workin at a gas station the Q tips would think you was gettin smart with them if said yes mam,no mam,yes sir ,no sir.I felt bad.if I didn't say that.I thought I was going to get in trouble.

Cntry,

All of the above except the flag.

When I got home from evacuating hurricane Wilma my American flag and pole had been blown over. Gave both my "Stars and Bars" as well as my American flag a proper funeral. (Yes, I still fly the confederate flag in my front yard)!

Being a redneck is a way of life that Ill always be proud of, nothing to do with hate!

Basketcase

not to stir up anything, but i was told growing up that our flag we fly proudly and love with the stars and bars is a united states flag, but the flag everyone referes to as a rebel flag or confederate flag is acctually
an american flag.just what i was tought i love them both.

basket don't feel babd about burning that flag .. that is the proper way to dispose of one after it hits the ground. the burning they are refering to is in protest.

Bubba I know what you mean about being thought of as a smart a.. but around my house if you didnt end or begin each sentence to you parents or elders with those words you had trouble sitting or talking for a while.

Bondsman the "stars and bars" is an american flag but it would be a stretch to call it one of the united states flags as we were slightly divided then from the yankees. I however don't have a problem with it and wholeheartedly view it as a sign of heritage .. not hatred. I am not predjudiced and do not dislike simply because of the color of someones skin. My dad that raised me was actually my stepgrandfather and he was 3/4 to 7/8 cherokee indian and in the summer he would be almnost black. I saw what prejudice can be like and it aint pretty. I frimly believe there is white trash which is just as bad a ni..ers, they are the same to me just different colors. I felt the hatred for whites in washington d.c., new orleans, houston and mexico to name a few places, I have been the minority many times. BUT YOUR ABSOLUTELY RIGHT ... IT IS AN AMERICAN FLAG and it has its place in history and deserves respect and deserves to be flown by good americans but not white trash. They have their " X" and we have ours. Sorry didn't mean to get going there. HOPE EVERYONE ENJOYED THE HOLIDAY.

Ditto, Amen, Guilty as charged also. I have a tattered ragged flag that has needed to be sent to its final resting place also, but I keep saying I am gonna drop it off at the VFW , I just keep forgetting, so I might do it myself if I can remember,( gettin old ain't for sissy's) seems I can't remember too much anymore. LOL

But yea, I'm guilty of being a redneck also . Later

Glad the flag of defiance was mentioned. It's a great flag for airboaters to fly as we are defiant to the incoming antis & environmentalists and hold true to our values. I fly the US flag & a Confederate Battle flag (Cross of St. Andrews)

According to an act of the US Congress, all Confederate vets are US vets and all the CS flags are considered US flags of our past & should be treated with respect. Any person or group who disrespects a Confederate vet or flag disrespects all US vets. (Listen up, NAACP)

Respect for our family, fellow man, God, County, heritage & flag are traits of a redneck that the urban dwellers up North just don't get & a lineage I'm proud to be descended from. (Note: not all rednecks are white!)

The liberal left wishes to erase all vestiges of what bonds us together as a country & people. When we lose our "Redneck Values," you can kiss our Republic & all that we love good-bye.........

It's well worth your time.

FYI
There are many active Black & Native American members of the Sons of Confederate Veterans. The SCV honors all it's veterans & members the same without regard to race or religion. It's a Southern thing so fly your Confederate flag as it really confounds the leftist Yankees!
