Tony Bourdain had no reservations about spearing a bullfrog between the eyes from an airboat on the dark river of grass around Everglades City. He was, after all, doing it for television -- Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations, to be exact, which airs his Miami adventures Monday night.
While in town in September to shoot the show, the notoriously irreverent chef and Kitchen Confidential author crashed a Nigerian shindig at Sam's Place in Opa-locka, played dominoes and ate stewed conch at Wilkinson Sejour's Chef Creole in Little Haiti, checked out Little Havana, ate at San Loco and drank at The Deuce on the Beach and fished with Norman Van Aken in the Keys. But spearing amphibians was a definite first....
