GO-435 Prop Afapter

I have recently aquired a GO-435 260 hp aircraft engine and I need to adapt the SAE 20 spline to a normal LxL for a carbon fiber prop or even a wood prop. Does anyone have experience or advice on a way to adapt to this large spline? The aircraft had a constant speed prop and I know I will have to cap off the hollow spline. I also need to find out what size prop to swing. It will turn at 2100 RPM with 260 hp, (the engine turns at 3400 and will run on regular pump gas). Thanks for looking. Robin

I am not familiar with that motor, but it sounds like it should have plenty of power for you.

You might want try this contact Junior Jurnigan @ 813-752-9214. He rebuilds lots of Lycomings for airboats. I have talked to him about parts and availability for several other non-typical Lycomings. He also has Sensenich composite propellers.

Good Luck
