I know a lot of us have GPS in our boats or in our pockets depending opn the model. Heres my question.
Has anyone layed down a track over a significant distance and varied terrain, saved it then tried to run that track a day or week or whatever later using the course deviation features??
My interest is in being able to run the St. Johns at night with no headlight or spotlight. Kinda like flying IFR and using a VOR for navigation in a plane.
This may be too distracting. Its actually not difficult to run the river with no spot or headlights anyway but I'm just thinking ahead and wondering if anyone has done this kind of thing with a GPS already.
