GPU CONVERSION QUESTION

IM DOING A GPU CONVERSION TO 0-520 I AM TO THE POINT OF CUTTING THE PUSH RODS AND WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE COULD GIVE SOME EXPERIANCED ADVICE I HAVE HEARD YOU HAVE TO TAKE 520 RODS AND CUT THEM DOWN AND IVE BEEN TOLD YOU CUT THE GPU RODS DOWN 60 THOUSENTHS IF YYOU HAVE DONE THIS PLEASE GIVE ME ANY FEEDBACK POSSIBLE

The reason you cut the push rod is for proper valve to rocker clearance.With the lifter deflated The clearance your looking for is .030-.110 ...Garys got the easy fix give him a call!!

u have to take a hammer and beat around the end until the ball comes out. then u can cut them down. U do one at a time and check valve clearance. make sure u clean them out good and blow out with air. use a chop saw to do it then beat ball end back in.

just don't cut too much at a time .unless u have extra push rods. been there done that. lucky had extras
