GPU Help

Rebuilding my GPU engine. I am looking to find information about connecting rods on the crankshaft. After taking the cylinders and pistons out there is side to side movement on the connecting rod. I have found metal shavings in the oil but it doesn't appear to be coming from the pistons, rings or valves. The cylinders are in good shape. I have noticed grooves in the crankshaft along where the connecting rods have movement and it seems to be where the metal shavings are coming from. Does anybody have any insight on replacing connecting rod bearings and where to find them?

Thank you.

Ducarra aviation. If its that far apart you oughta finish tearing it down so you can look at the crank and have the rods trued and rebushed. As well as turning the crank and going back with new bearings and seals. Just my opinion.

Are you going to tackle this yourself? How does the job look so far? I ask because I may be doing the same thing soon...unfortunately. KRS
