If you were going to buy a fresh built engine to bolt in place of a GPU,who would you buy it from?
I'm looking for people who stand behind their product,who have a good reputation,and who know their business.
I don't mind paying a fair price for quality,I just don't want a piece of crap.I've already got one of those.
 
Send Skeeter and Geneva0550 a PM. They have motors by JC Stanley. They have nothing but good things to say about him. Look in the AB trader he has a listing there.

Agreed, deepsea diver. My buddy and i just had two finished by him, and aside from the workmanship of his motors- he's a very down to earth business man.
 
not to contridicte anyone but jr jurnigan in plantcity builds a really good engine. hes a little pricey but his work is good. every motor of his i have been around has been excellent. my uncle has a 0540 from jr and has not had a bit of trouble. 200 hours on engine still running strong. no smoke no blowby nothing but good.
 
If he said aircraft I would have said Jr, but he ask for GPU. Jr mainly deal s in Lycomings, JC in connie's. But you are right Jr build's one great motor and they are good for many hours.
 
jc stanley sells a 220 converson to 520 thant would bolt right in place,with 285hp.plus you could see what he would take off of the$$$ amount for your motor
