Know of anyplace in need?
Maybe Lights, Signage, Ramp (Shady Oaks) or other improvement?(lake Hancock-lakeland?) (road jump in Gardner Marsh?)
Wanna take the lead in gaining an improvement? Feel free to jump in & "Git 'er Done."
This money is going to someone............might as well be an airboat landing. We just need someone to take the lead & pursue (It's not a one call gig)..........This type of effort is where past positive PR comes into play.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) expects to fund more than $3.5 million in grants next year to improve recreational boating and related activities on coastal and inland waters.
Eligible participants for the FWC’s Florida Boating Improvement Program include this state’s county and municipal governments. Other governmental entities must apply through their counties or municipalities for consideration. The application deadline for fiscal year 2006-07 grants is June 2.
Boating Improvement Grants have been available since 1999 for projects such as:
Boat ramps and other public launching facilities
Piers, docks and other mooring facilities
Recreational channel marking
Aquatic plant control
Boating education
Economic development initiatives that promote boating
Other local boating-related activities that enhance boating access for recreational boaters
Beginning in 2004, the legislature provided additional funding for the program. Since the 2004-05 fiscal year, the FWC has awarded $5,134,312 for 45 projects throughout the state.
