del.milligan@theledger.com
Outdoorsmen are being asked by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission to volunteer Saturday in the search for Charles Huff of Lakeland, who has been missing since Thanksgiving Day.
Huff, 76, failed to return home after a hunting trip.
Volunteers will meet at the Polk County Sheriff's Office mobile command post in the Green Swamp Wildlife Management Area at 7 a.m. on Saturday.
The command post is six miles east of the State Road 471 entrance to Green Swamp WMA on Main Grade at the intersection of Tanic Grade.
Horses are welcomed for the search, but no all-terrain vehicles.
For more information on the general search effort, call the USA Speedway at 1-800-9847223.
