Gun ownership survey

Everybody should voice their opinion on this one. Notice that they have an article that states how Ownership is divided but notice how the poll is going. :)
 
I am with the other 73% who say it is our constitutional rihgt to bear arms. The Employer can set the rules inside the workplace, but they have no voice about nor interest inside your personal vehicle at ANY TIME. My vehicle is an extension of my castle. What part of "Shal Not Be Infringed" do they not understand.

I HAVE MORE THAN 8-? GUNS AND I CAN HIT THE MARK FROM 3 METERS TO 500 METERS, AND I'AM AN OLD MAN. IF YOU DON'T LIKE MY GUNS-N-LOUD BOAT, GET THE HELL OUT OF THE SOUTH!!!! :boxing:
 
This is now at 74% .... Yes. The trunk or glove compartment of my car or truck is none of an employer's business.

I'm with Ted Nugent. The Second Amendment IS a concealed-carry permit.

They got a window there saying people are divided on it. with 74% one way I sure dont see much division on that issue. Typical BS media trying to spin a headline when the body says different. THAT infuriates me.

From what I have read it sounds like there is going to be a compromise and only apply to employees with concealed weapons permits. Maybe they should look at the results of this survey before making any decisions. I agree with Whitebear all the way.
 
wow 75% is pretty big number you would think that this many people might have some power? or maybe we just havent been pushed hard enough! :evil:
 
75% with 3777 in favor. If everyone would stop listening to the news media and realize that we are still a Nation made up of God fearing family's that do not like what a few liberals are trying to turn our Country into then things could be fixed. We are for some reason willing to let a few overly loud liberals dictate the fate of our Nation. They will never take our guns away outright. They will however legislate misery into our lives. The Second amendment is extremely clear on our rights, nothing more should need to be said. Take my guns??? Not with a wife,2 daughters and 3 sons who can shoot!

I guess the question and most likely the solution would be to address why people feel they need guns for protection. Wouldn't solving that threat be a better solution?

Although I didn't like getting shot at last year walking by someones turkey hunting camp on Kissimmee, happened in Alabama several years ago getting near another camp dear hunting... Why do some people think they need to shoot at you for getting near there camps?
 
Because they are idiots... thats EXACTLY why I want my guns.

A cop is too bulky and heavy to carry. I prefer to go out and do, and I can't WAIT minutes or hours for LEO to show up. I'll protect myself thank you very much.

And if you decide to attempt to make my country communist or socialist, I will prevent that from happening.

Just because you were near a place where shooting was likely to occur, doesn't mean anyone was shooting at you!
If that were the case...they must be damn poor shots!
 
I'm sure they weren't, the point being it's still inexcusable and another reason this issue needs looking at. It's definitely our right to bear arms but that doesn't include taking pot shots at people... LOL

I'm a damn cripple and people shot at me GAWD :( It's common knowledge you best watch your backside in the brush during hunting season, heck I feel safer in the city :)

If someone is shooting at people in the woods you need to report this and see that they are taken care of!

When I am in the woods I try to always be aware of my surroundings and proximity to shooting activities, but I have never considered it "common knowledge" that I have to watch my backside.
Quite to the contrary...I have found that I constantly have to watch
my backside in all city settings....cars are bigger projectiles...just as deadly...and many
are uncontrolled! :)

I may have it wrong ....but you sound like a liberal anti-gun advocate!

People being shot in the woods accidentally or otherwise are extremely rare, way more so than in the city.

I was taught never to shoot at something I couldn't clearly see and to always make sure down range is clear.
 
Hold on to your rights! Don't ever let the U.S.A. get like Canada ! The drug dealing gangs in the large cities use pistols as "tools of the trade " . But God help me if I use a hand gun to save the life of my family in my own home ! . 12 gauge slugs or 00 Buck you can explain away . Pick up a 9MM or 357 and it's a guaranteed trip to Federal prison ! Ultra Liberal pro "criminal rights" groups protect the law breakers . And I would be a criminal for using "deadly force" to save my life . This is just wrong .
 
I heard that Grant, that's how it kinda sounds to me too. I doubt any one was purpously shooting at you; was it private property, or perhaps you were disturbing their hunt by unknowingly walking through their set up. This still wouldn't give them the right to shoot at you, but that is why it is a hunters responsibility to know his surroundings and the unspoken rule of hunting.

I feel a lot safer knowing I may be in the presence of several liscensed concealed carriers it's not the honest gun owner I worry about. Hell if you give me trouble and I feel I can take you I'll put it in the truck and pound the flesh with you.

I have said it before and I will say it again, when they come to take my guns the only thing I'm sending out is the wife and kids. :evil:
 
Gal Dang men lets just pound people and shoot our way out of this-n. Hey after all we're all adults.... Pass me another beer would ya I'm thirsty! :)
