8 foot and up still good. Under 8 foot the bottom a has dropped out. Catch big ones if your gonna put money in your pocket after all your expensens. Make sure who ever you sell to has a Fur and Hide Dealers license thru FWC or you both will be in deep sh-t! Double check.
Have the rules changed?
It has been my understanding that all that is required to purchase whole alligators is a
Processors License.
If you are selling skins you need to be sure the buyer has a Fur & Hide Dealers license.
Grant my guy is a lic.trapper through the state he obtains all the legal paper work and lic. to buy and sell gators.Hey if yall get 40 a foot good deal ,but if you dont thats why i posted this just an option
I was just wondering if the rules have changed....I have been dealing in alligators since 1988....I don't always keep up with the changes
I am not sure where the prices are gonna shake out this season.....however I have been hearing comparable to last year, with maybe a little more on larger skins and a little less on smaller!
I don't read too much into what I hear, till they actually start trading!
Grant,
Processor license or Hide and fur dealers license. Through FWC. Just because they are a trapper doesn't mean they can buy gators. They have to have one or the other.
Grant thats cool hope i didnt come off as a smart ass .He has his processors lic and he is also a trapper through the state .I hope the prices shake out the best for everyone just trying to help a little .
