Header question??

The wife's boat has a zz4 on it.. It might be a zz5 now I don't remember.. Anyway her headers have 1 1/2" primaries and are normal length. If I switch them over to the 1 3/4" primaries with the long tubes will she pick up any noticeable performance? The long tubes are $385/set would it be a worth while upgrade?

Who's headers are they and how long are the primary tubes! Making the primary tubes longer will not give you a noticeable HP increase but it will move your torque curve lower! In other words it will make near the same HP and torque but at less RPM's! I have used three places for coating two were terrible and the third was awesome coatings go from $200 to $250!
 
I don't know who is making them.. or actually how long they are I just told him long tubes. I would have to order them from Airboat pros. I hope they would be as long as mine??

Does the primary tube diameter make a big difference? I would think 1.75 would be better but thats why I am asking.. She has short 1.5s on there now but she really likes the looks of the coated longs...

Can you give me the name of the place that did the awesome job coating the headers as well?
