Heated Seats

Well folks, as I look out the window, the thermometer reads 52 degrees F; a reminder that it's nearing that time of year again.

Does anyone have heated seats or ever seen a boat with heated seats? Seems one way of making it more bearable riding in the winter.

Any ideas?

Hey Red
I have never heard of anyone doing that but you could just take a few feet of heater hose and attach it under your seat on the way up to your expansion tank. That MIGHT help a little.
You can also purchace heated clothes. They use them on motorcycles and when running heavy equiptment. It plugs into 12 volts and keeps you toasty warm.
The easy answer is for you to come down here and ride.

Widder makes some very effective heated vests ...... you can get them from the big motorcycle supply houses. You just plug them into a 12V DC outlet and in a few minutes ..... Ahhhh :) .

I've ridden with them. They work.

The Widder elec. vests are awesome. They will literally "iron" the wrinkles in your shirt. I've used mine on bikes, boats, and even an old roadster we used to have.

It wouldn't be hard to heat the grip also. Many aftermarket grip heaters for bikes. If a motorcycle can power these accessories it shouldn't be a problem for an airboat.
