It's basically Ethanol, Fuel system compatibility would be the primary concern, these days your AV Carb system is the only real issue. For us folks where it doesn't freeze, we find 100 LL and water do not mix, gravity keeps them apart. Put a drain on the low point of your fuel tank, your water Seperator and your carb bowl and you are golden.
For Alaska, yep, you need to deal with the frozen water and Ethanol is the easy way. Start running the Ethanol in your fuel to capture and burn all the water, but also start building an Ethanol friendly carb, cause 1-2 years and that Ethanol is gonna have an older setup leaking everywhere.
