Help Frog Giging

What type habitat do you look for in Lake Okeechobee.
Do you idle and try to stick them.
I there a limit.
What's the best type of weather and does the moon play roll.
What do you consider a frog boat.
How many beers does it take.

there ant no frogs on the lake no grass seance the hurricanes and as sone as the grass starts to grow the spray it.

it's like jousting, but you spear the frog instead of a person. There are many skills involed. Eye sight, steady hand and speed reaction. it is a deepsouth tradition.

Some guys putt around and get one here and there. Then you and Stan and Country, and The Southern gentile men from Sawgrass Univ. These guys can go down a lakes edge on plan and gig a frog without missing a beat. They are the masters.

Next time you drive at night. Place a can along the side of the road. Take a 10 to 14 ft alum pole or bamboo pile with a nail in the end of it.. Stick the pole out the window and drive buy it at 15 to 20 mph and see if you can gig it.

I could see my 60 year old a$$ on plane trying to stick a frog. I wonder how many times the masters of the gig have been knocked over board. Scott

Only limit is yourself and gas
Moon up frogs down,moon down frogs up.
Wind is bad,cold or hot doesn't matter
A boat that's cheap on fuel is the best
More Beer less frogs, coffee is best

OK :shock: now I know .Here in Australia we have the Cane Toad ,he was accidentally released by the CSIRO (one of our government bodies) years ago and is now in plague proportions.It has poison glands in its back and when in trouble it releases this poison killing what ever is attacking it.It's an environmental disaster killing many native animals.Maybe we should look at Frog Giging as a way to drop there numbers. :lol:

Use a beebe gun to pop tods its funner.And then you dount get peed on.We got them poisones tods here to if your dog catchies one it could kill or just make him or her sick.
