Hi duckluv you might try dave's airpart's in st.cloud fl. his # is shop 407-891-9060 or cell 407-709-0821 you can probably catch him on sat. or jr. jurnigan at 813-299-4264 hope this help's

Did you ask Stan if he has one? He might have one around there.
I can't wait to see the pictures of that boat running!

faron, i mentioned to him mine was being worked on but it wasn't till last night that the 'wheel fell off the wagon'. i'll call him today or monday. talk about frustrating. but, that is one bad a$$ boat. i'll put some pics up when i get it running.....thanks for the good work faron. if you know someone in Florida that has a sump, please let me know.

Ill see what I can find, I sure want to come do a hunt with you next year in that new boat.
I'll call Stan tomorrow and a few other people I know.

You might be able to weld it, cause you wont like the cost.....Gary Barber might have one, but I know Jr. Jurg was buying all he could get at over $500 ea cause there hard to find. Ill ask Mike Thurman if he has one. Might put an ad on wings online as well.....

I bet you could get stan to weld it up if you remove it an clean it. That would only cost a few bucks compared to the cost of buying a new one. Might have to grind off the old "repairs". I sent out e-mails to a few other people so maybe I will have a price on Monday if anyone has one.

i talked to lycoming the other day and they said it is a aluminum and magnesium alloy. it requires some special wire to weld it (AZ 101). i think i'm going to get one from Dave. i've got one more guy to check with today and then i'm going to decide. thanks for the help guys.

Here is what I found so far.

We can supply a good used O-540 sump for $850.00.

If you will send the sump to me I will repair it for you at no cost I am a FAA cetified welder been doing welding for 27 yrs it will be no problem to fix I think just send me a PM and I will give you my address to send it to
I think the cost of shipping will be a lot less than a new or used sump.

this crack now looks like somebody shot it up with a .300 mag. the cracks are as wide as my finger. i think i just acquired a very expensive trotline weight. i will not sell this to anyone because it will only cause problems for them in the future. sorry guys, but i'm doing yall a favor by not selling it. thanks for all the offers and recommendations......
