HELP WITH AIRBOAT TV SHOW

I have met someone recently who does a couple of tv spots on local stations around south florida.He covers motorsports of different kinds.One of his shows running now is on V8 motorcycles.Extremely nice guy.We got to talking (about motorcycles and airboats of course)LOL.
He started asking usual question,you know props,motors,exhaust.HA (thinking to myself)OPENING!!!! I explained in fact we did have law that just passed concerning mufflers .
We also got on subject of negitive attitudes and comments torwards airboats.
I simply asked him 2 questions,first was how much negative has he heard torwards airboaters in general over passed year.2nd was how much POSITIVE had he heard about in same amount of time.Basically
he had only heard the bad and
NOT the GOOD that THE AIRBOAT COMMUNITY HAS DONE,which is generally how it happens if your not directly invovled in these great machines we call AIRBOATS
In talking with him he got very intersted in what i was saying as i was contemplating what he was saying.
WHY should YOU care about this??
What does this mean to us the airboat community!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think We have a chance to do SOMETHING Special
To turn some Very negitive feelings into VERY POSITIVE feelings torwards airboaters and airboats as a whole.
IN a nut shell this is what situtation that presented itself
i have a gentleman who produces motorsports shows IMPORTANT KEY WORD HERE :arrow: INDEPENDENTLY
He would like to do something on Airboaters and Airboats .
This could be something VERY BENEFICIAL.
I have some ideas on how make this a reality
Who knows we might be able to turn on our tv's and see
This weeks 1 HOUR episode of
????AIRBOATERS WEEKLY JOURNAL?????
(just a guess on title)
We all know TV time is definately not cheap
(BUT CAN BE NICE WRITE OFF) :twisted: LOL
what am I asking for??

Anyone can be a sponsor and sponsorship doesnt have to be in cash. Individual owners and clubs can provide boats, expertise, anecdotes. Interviews with those who airboaters worked for out in N.O. would be beneficial too.

If nothing else we can all chip in something anyway.

I guess we really need more information. What is needed from sponsors?? What kind of material is needed for content??

I think it would be a grand chance to increase our positive visability.

as far as info for content i believe that wont be a problem.
BUT ALL POSITIVE FOR SURE
and yes all the clubs will be very beneficial to the going on's in differnet areas
What is needed by sponsors is unfortunately the
ALL MIGHTY DOLLAR.
sponorship can come from clubs and individuals alike but bottom line is for this to happen it WILL take $$
once we can get it rolling with major sponsorship(s)
I wish i could afford to do this on my own,but dont have that much "jack"
it is going to take combined effort to do this.

Ok so we need to have a goal established for whatever dollar amount that will be. Then an escrow account somewhere for the deposits.

I think this is a SUPER idea. Lets get er dun.
