I heard they were at TRU, and I went to buy one, but couldn't find it.

I got one a few months back. if you are looking for a model or a toy for your child it is good. it has wheels on the bottom(that's how it runs dry). It is a good looking model of an aiboat though... I have mine sitting on top of my TV. I have built a couple of gas airplane engine models that I play with. They are a blast. They are also much more dangerous. Split my finger in two trying to start it once. Prop bounced back and went thru the tip of my finger and the nail as well.

Layla bought this one (airboat only) for her nephews at Loughman Lake Lodge. I think it was $60.00, but I don't know for sure. It never gets rest even when the batteries are dead.

My dad built one out of scrap wood with a r/c airplane motor on it one time. I wish I had a pic of . But it looked like the real thing. Grass rake, frog chut cage. wE Started one a few years ago. But then the airboat gods came though for us and we got our first real deal.
