Hey did anybody see...

Duece, I belive it to be a Buick motor. They had just finished lunch at Armantes Resturant and slid off the bank then idled out about 200 ft and started to power up when all hell broke loose. No one is sure if it was the prop or the crank that let go first but all in all the whole thing exploded.
The boat had a full crew and no one was injured. I had just come to have lunch when it happened so I made a call to my fellow members of CCAA who were in the marsh and they came running. It looked like the Cavalry coming across the water all flying CCAA club flags. After attaching several ropes together and to the boat, I used my 4x4 to pull it out.

This is one reason to belong to a club.

Looking at the pics I would have to say it's an olds motor. Buicks run front mounted distributers like a caddy, and mount the starter where the oil filter is on an olds. Probably a 455 motor.
