Nebraska i finally arived thought i'd drop a line and see if anyone was running this weekend forecast looks good and probably not many good weekends left let me know were and when if your going out and i'll meet up

I'll be working on my house trying to get it sold. You might wait to hear from Tim Bryson or Whitetail... I'm sure if Tim is in town and not hunting he will be out there. We run around Fremont on the Platte.

Awww right you done done it now LOL postin that number on here gets you an immediate entry on the emergency response list just in case one of us in florida really gets lost and finds ourselves in kansas.
 
I am on the search and rescue for the surronding areas in Nebraska, so if you need me in Kansas feel free to call me if I can make I will be there.

Hey scotter I was wondering if you got a hold of my guys in Nebraska. I told another friend of mine about you. His name is Randy he is going out on the River Sat.

Have fun on the Platte River.

If you don't want to pull your boat home you can drive it up on my land.

Tim we went out on sat. i took my son with me and we had a ball never thought airboating could be this good in neb. met the nicest people this hobby has ever had spider man drove us back to our truck so we could leave our boat at your place we ran sun. to but not many showed up hope to meet you next weekend if weather permit's. if it's ok with tou i will go back to your landing my boat does not like that hormel ramp when you see it you'll understand THANK'S tim see ya on the water
 
Scooter glad to hear you had a great time. Yes I will be on the water this week and weekend. I fly into NE Monday and hope to be in my bow stand by the eving time for that big buck to walk by.

You are welcome to use my land this weekend for docking your boat.

Hopefully some people from Floriday are reading this so they can experience this some time.

Hey Scooter,

I think I might have seen you riding this past Sunday morning. Do you run a full deck blue boat with grass rake and aircraft? I had a Fremont Airboat Club meeting in the morning. I'd like to meet you, Tim, and the rest of the nebraska guys on this site some time. I have meet Spiderman before when he had his purple boat and 502 chevy DD. He is a super nice guy.

Hey Dan,

Scooter has been down the past two weekends, I have been letting him keep his boat down at my river ground where I Keep my tour boat.

His boat is a step boat with a grass rake, aircraft engine. Great running boat.

I had some tours on Sunday, He followed me up through Cedar Lakes I showed him where the old bridge pillings are.

So how many boats do think will be out On this Saturday since it is the last day for airboats to be on the water.

I am sure Scott will not mind, this is his cell if you would like to touch base with him 712-899-7218, he is planning on comming down this Friday or Sat. Nice Guy, a true airboater.

Most of my time is going on working on my house down on Big Island I would like to be in before Thanks Giving.

We (Fremont Airboat Club) got a letter from Lower Platte River Alliance NRD stating that next year they plan to remove the remaining bridge pilings from hwy 50 in Ashland and the remaining concrete pieces left over from the demo of the Cedar Bluffs Railroad pilings. I hope they get them all... I hit one the first year I had my boat. Good thing I didn't have my dad's fiberglass boat. The poly on my boat took the hit and dented my hull. I've heard of a lot of people hiting them up there. I'm going to try to get out Saturday. If I am out it will be in dad's boat. Tree Frog Green Flat Bottom set up like Jay Kern's boat (without the reduction) If I see you sitting somewhere I'll stop and say hello.

My wife and I plan on going out Sat.

I hope there will be alot of airboaters out Sat.

Always nice to see airboats on the water.
 
Looks like low to mid 70's i'll probably force myself to suffer through one last platte ride for the year :lol: :lol: :lol: hope for a good turn out. seems to be some of the nicest people i've but then again most airboaters are see ya on the water
 
Scooter it was nice to meet you and your family. Hopefully you can get some of those Florida boys to come up here next year for the rodeo.

If its nice during the months of Nov and Dec. and you want to bring your boat down, I have access to the Elkhorn River we can run that anytime of year.

I usually bow hunt pretty hard during those months, but if you would like to bring the boat down I would make the time to go on the boat.
